Julian FORD

University of Connecticut

Dr. Julian Ford is a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Director of the National Child Traumatic Stress Network Center for Trauma Recovery and Juvenile Justice. Dr. Ford developed the evidence-based TARGET CT recovery model that has been implemented in all sectors of the workforce in juvenile justice, child welfare, and residential treatment settings. He has authored or edited 10 books and more than 200 articles and chapters in the traumatic stress field, and co-developed the Traumatic Events Screening Inventory for Children (TESI). Dr. Ford co-leads the NCTSN DTD initiative.

Christine COURTOIS

Phd

Christine A. Courtois PhD, ABPP specializes in the treatment of trauma, particularly for adults experiencing the effects of childhood incest and other forms of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse. Dr. Courtois has worked with these issues for 30 years and has developed treatment approaches for complex posttraumatic and dissociative conditions for which she has received international recognition.

Noreen TEHRANI

Director of NAPS

After an interesting and varied career working as a medical researcher, retail operations manager and organizational counselling psychologist, Noreen launched her organization in 1997. She qualified as a psychologist in 1983 and has achieved chartered status in Occupational, Counselling, Health and Coaching Psychology.   The diversity of her training and experience has helped her to deal with a wide range of psychological problems which reduced employee well-being and organizational effectiveness

Robert MULLER

University of York

Robert T. Muller trained at Harvard University, was on faculty at the University of Massachusetts, and is currently at York University in Toronto. Dr. Muller was recently honored as a Fellow of the International Society for the Study of Trauma & Dissociation (ISSTD) for his work on trauma treatment.

Bruno INTRECCIALAGLI

Bruno Intreccialagli medico chirurgo specialista in psichiatria, psicoterapeuta, didatta della Società Italiana di Terapia Comportamentale e Cognitiva (SITCC) nella quale ha ricoperto incarichi direttivi e scientifici. Vive e lavora a Roma dove è responsabile del II Centro di Psicoterapia Cognitiva in Via degli Scipioni. Si occupa del trattamento dei Disturbi Dissociativi della Coscienza dall'origine della loro formulazione in ambito cognitivista ed ha collaborato con Giovanni Liotti nella ricerca dei correlati di tale patologia con la Teoria dell'Attaccamento. È autore di numerose pubblicazioni scientifiche sull'argomento. Ha insegnato in numerose Scuole di Psicoterapia  ove svolge tutt' ora il ruolo di docente

Diana MASSAI

Politecnico di Torino

My research activity is focused on developing bioreactors and bioengineering technologies for tissue engineering applications. I apply advanced tools, such as fluid dynamics, mass transport modelling, and biomechanics, to support the design phase of innovative devices and to provide a comprehensive analysis of their operational principles. In addition, I work on mechanical characterization of soft tissues at the micro (nanoindentation) and macro (uni/biaxial testing) scale.
